Exclusive Fashion Interviews with Miami’s Rising Star Renata Olavarrieta

Updated: Mar 6

Staying updated on the latest fashion trends can be difficult since the fashion industry is always changing. To solve this issue, I asked Renata how she stays updated with the latest fashion trends and industry developments. Her response was, “I stay current by conducting thorough research through platforms like WGSN and Cosmos. By analyzing the latest trends, I strive to incorporate them into my own unique style and perspective.” These websites are key to staying updated on the latest fashion news and helping you make a statement because of their consumer insight and expert trend forecasting. I then asked Olavarrieta what advice she would give to those who felt pressured to follow every fashion trend, and she stated, “Fashion trends change every week; it is draining to keep up. But it's okay to take breaks. I always tell myself I want to do trends that define me. I don't do it for likes or the views; otherwise, the whole process is different and not fun if you don't get what you want. It's all about having fun and trying to be as OG as you can. ”

The main question among most would be how people can express their personal style without spending a lot of money. Well, according to Olavarrieta, you can attain a polished look without breaking the bank. “You don’t need to buy the most expensive dress just to post a reel; at the end of the day, it's all about using what you have and making it work one way or another. Comparing yourself to other influencers won't help either. You might think that all your clothes are trash, but have you tried styling them in a different way? You're out of ideas? No worries, I got you. Since we live in Miami, layering is not in our favor, but if you layer jewelry, that whole outfit changes. Having a simple outfit with excessive jewelry can make up the outfit. You have a simple outfit on, but your makeup is popping—girl, why complain about the outfit when your makeup makes up for it?”
